We’re not just a business – we’re a family.
Scott and Rebekah Rushing started Classic City Arborists in 2014 with a truck and trailer, a handful of chainsaws and climbing gear, and a desire to offer high quality services at affordable prices. While our operation has grown and we’ve added invaluable members to our team, our core priorities have remained the same: honest assessments, fair prices, safe operations, and a healthy respect for our environment.
-
Our Certified Arborists use their years of education and experience to provide professional recommendations about what work needs to be done. This might mean pointing out a tree you didn’t know was dead and recommending its removal for your safety, or it might mean reassuring you that a perfectly healthy tree doesn’t need to be removed at all. Either way, the goal is to provide you with all the information you need to decide what will be best for you and your trees.
-
We keep our prices affordable and in line with current market rates. We aren’t a big business looking to satisfy shareholders – we’re a family trying to pay the bills, just like you!
-
Safety is our number one priority. Period. All our recommendations are based on the safest methods of tree removal and pruning to ensure our employees, our customers, and our customer’s property remain safe.
-
Trees are a vital component of any ecosystem, and an important part of life. We strive to be good stewards of our environment by keeping as many trees as happy and healthy as possible.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Colossians 3:23-24
Scott and Rebekah
Scott Rushing earned his Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Georgia, and has been working in the tree service industry since 2008. In 2011, Scott received his ISA Certified Arborist Credentials, which he maintains by earning yearly Continuing Education Units to stay informed on the latest proper tree care techniques. In 2018, Scott obtained the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification to gain further knowledge and skills for identifying at risk trees before they cause damage. Outside of work, Scott participates in quarterly 50K trail races, takes his kids hiking and camping, and simply enjoys spending valuable time with his family.
His wife, Rebekah, has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. While a co-owner, she mostly works in the background. She handles financing and accounting, marketing and advertising, and human resources. Outside of work, Rebekah is a driver, personal chef, laundress, housekeeper and nanny. Just kidding – she's a mom – but these four babies keep her heart full.
Serving customers with respect, hard work and dedication since 2014.
